UN Security Council Condemns Libya Authorities

As Libya authorities approve of using any kind of force against the protesters, this has been condemned by the UN Security Council. According to UN Security Council, those responsible ones should be held to account for their acts.

Secondly, the council wanted an urgent end to the violence and wanted the Libya authorities to meet the demands of the protesters. According to the reports of Human Rights, almost 300 people have been killed since the beginning of the protests.

Gaddafi called the protesters as “cockroaches” and “rats”. And he wanted his supporters to attack those “cockroaches” and “rats”. He warned the protesters that anyone who was armed and was against the rule would be executed finally.

Gaddafi’s right hand man, Interior Minister Abdel Fattah Younes al-Abidi, has resigned and wanted the military to respond to the demands of the protesters. The speech of Gaddafi made the tension higher.
