Berlusconi: I was against Libya War

Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi said he had been against the decision by Western countries led by France and Britain to go to war in Libya but had been forced to go along with a decision taken by parliament.
“I was against this measure as everyone knows,” Silvio Berlusconi told a book presentation, adding that he had been forced to go along with a decision taken by the Italian parliament.

“I had my hands tied by the vote of the parliament of my country,” he also said.
