During the 22nd Joint Economic Committee meeting in Tehra, Iran and Turkey signed a protocol.
The protocol was signed by Turkish State Minister Cevdet Yılmaz and Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Ekber Salihi. "The protocol offers major opportunities." said Turkish State Minister. What is Turkey trying to do is to increase its commercial, economic and financial relations with its neighbors.
During the meeting, cooperation fields such as commerce, construction services, industry, investments, private sector, science, energy, agriculture, radio and television, environment, social security and many more has been discussed.
According to Iranian Foreign Minister told that the relations between the two countries could be carried to forward. He also said that a railway that interconnects the two countries can also increase the trade between both countries.
