The Ex-President of Haiti Aristide to Take New Passport

The Haitian government states that a new passport has been issued for the ex-President Jean-Bertrand Aristide.
So, he can return to Haiti.

A government official told that the passport was issued on Monday. But, on the other hand Mr. Aristide's lawyer told he did not receive any kind of passport. Mr. Aristide has been in exile for 7 years in South Africa and he is looking forward to returning to Haiti. The news of his possible return to Haiti comes in a chaotic time, related with presidential election.

Officials say "All the formalities have been completed." But the lawyer of Aristide told that he neither received a passport nor he was told that the passport was issued. For long, Mr. Aristide has expressed his willingness to return to Haiti and it seems that he will possibly return to his country soon.
