Normalization Efforts in Egypt

The efforts made to Egypt normal again have suffered many setbacks after a two-week violent anti-government protests.

Banks have been opened again while schools and stock exchanges are still closed. Recently, a government building has been prevented from opening by angry protesters. Protesters are still on the streets and in the Tahrir Square and they wow that they can only leave after Hosni Mubarak resigns.

Even some of the protesters spend the night under the army vehicles. The army has been ordered not to use any kind of force against the public. The talks between the opposition and government was no useful to calm down the protesters. Many concessions were offered by the government, but opposition side did not find them enough. Last week, Obama also asked for a transition in Egypt.
