Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh: I will quit in 2013'
Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh said that he will not extend his presidency as his term is to finish in 2013. Mr. Saleh has benn in power for thirty years. For the first time, he came to power in 1978 as the President of North Yemen. While speaking in the parliament and consultative council, he said his plans regarding of moving aside. He was also focus of the protests and he spoke ahead of the civil society organized protests. What Yemen suffers is the 40% unemployment rate, high inflation, increasing food prices and high levels of malnutrition.
