Mohamed Geele, breaking into the home of Danish caricaturist Kurt Westergaard who caricatured Prophet Muhammad, has been convicted of attempted murder and terrorism.

Now, Mohamed Geele may be face to face with a life sentence for his attack on Kurt Westergaard. Geele was wounded by the police and he denied all the charges. In court, he told that his sole purpose was to frighten the cartoonist. On Friday, the sentence is expected to be passed by a judge. The turban bomb was among the cartoons of Kurt Westergaard that annoyed Muslims.

The cartoonist told the court that as Geele broke into the home, he had a knife and an axe with him and he shouted: "You must die!" and "You are going to hell!". Later on, cartoonist locked himself in the panic room as he was after him.

According to the court, this has been a well-designed attack. And Danish Intelligence tells that Geele has some connections with Fundamental Islamist movements.
