Hosni Mubarak Will Not Run Again

As protest still go on to increase, finally Hosni Mubarak has said that he will not attend the re-election in September.
As he spoke to the state channel, he promised to make a constitutional reform and wanted to stay till his presidential term finishes. As hundreds of thousands of people were in protest in central Cairo, Mubarak felt forced to make an announcement. The demonstration was the biggest of all the times. Hosni Mubarak told that; from now on, he would dedicate his time to create a peaceful Egypt.

"My first priority is to restore peace and stability in our country, to ensure the peaceful transition of leadership, and to ensure that the responsibility goes to whomever the people of Egypt choose in the next election. I do not intend to stand for election again," he said. But, he severely criticised the protest.

According to him, they began as a civilized phenomenon and then turned into chaotic events which were controlled by political cowards. He told that he offered dialogue but some political powers rejected his offer.

On the other hand, Opposition leader George Ishak told that they are very disappointed  and very angry. Because, Mubarak never listened to them, he turned a blind eye to all their demands. So, he should go now.
