Clash Between Cambodia and Thailand Forces

Regarding a disputed temple on border, Cambodia and Thailand forces have clashed. Later on, it was confirmed that this clash is true when a soldier reported gunfires.

This disputed temple is known as the Preah Vihear Temple. This temple has always been a cause of dispute between Thailand and Cambodia, but this is the first time that two countries used force against each other.

For the time being, it is hard to tell whether both Thailand and Cambodia used artillery or just one of them. Between the two countries, there was a known skirmish. The first fire has been reported to be made at 03.10 pm near Phu Makuea temple.

An eye witness soldier, who was on duty at that time, has reported the clashes are still going on, but, fortunately there are no injuries or kills. Residents of that area were asked by the government and the army to evacuate their houses and move to the safer places or to find shelters.

It is expected that Thai Foreign Minister will visit Cambodia and some steps will be taken as soon as possible.
